Visitors from 12 neighboring countries are exempted from having a visa. Among the countries that require a visa prior to arrival are Iran, Iraq, Nepal, Philippines, Mongolia, Moldova, and most of the African countries. The rest may apply for a visa upon arrival.
The official currency of Jordan is the Dinar.
It is strongly advised to be vaccinated with the routine shots, as well as for hepatitis A and B.
